This hotel is special and immaculately clean, has affable staff and incredible location in a great area with walking distance to all amusements. The breakfast is sensational and the views of inner courtyard are amazing!

It was a nice hotel. Nothing fancy but what we had expected. Price a bit high, but not compared to other hotels in Rome, so it was fine. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed eating at the small roof top terrace. We had a room on the first floor facing the street. It was very noisy, but we managed to sleep anyways. Ask for a room away from the street if noise bothers you! We walked everywhere so the location is nice! Personnel very friendly! I recommend this hotel!

Perfectly cosy small hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided extra service and attention, when one of us was sick. The room was of good standard inclusive the bathroom. Housekeeping every day ;even though we stayed at the room until 1:30 pm for a couple of days. Breakfast was okay; on the 6th floor with a lovely view. We would like to recommend this hotel. And we give a special thank you to the staff.
Naturally there's some noise from the road, but that's what to expect. So we did not mind it at all.

We stayed at Hotel Doria for 3 nights in August and we loved it. The service was great and breakfast on the roof top terrace was lovely we really enjoyed breakfast, the coffee was great and they have nice breads, croissants, ham, salami, tasty cheese, pat'e, cereals, yoghurts and a few other things. The hotel is very central and isn't far from teh hop on hop off bus stop which is a great way to get around Rome. We would stay here again it was great.

Closeness to central train station/metro. Reasonable walk to the Colosseum/Forum area. No problem with the "seediness" referred to in other reviews of hotels in the area near train station. Wonderful active Catholic Church with the original icon for Our Lady of Perpetural Help (Redemtorist priests) just down the street.
We had the fifth floor facing the courtyard in back which was wonderful. The room did smell a bit "closed up" when we first arrived. The weather was wonderful so we just opened windows.

Great location, close to all city sights. Loved the breakfast on the garden rooftop.

The day i left it
This place is shocking for the following reasons: 1)Not once was there hot water for a shower 2)there was no "please do not disturb" sign on the door-thus knocking on my room every morning 3)The staff were very unfriendly except for one older man. 4)The cleaning people made noise from 7am to 12 noon 5)there was a smell of sewage in the room 6) i had to pay upfront-never heard of that before

the hotel is clean and comfortable and ideally placed as its only a short walk from Termini and handy for the tourist bus and only a short walk from the colosseum. its a good base, simple with no frills.

The location was great, right around the corner from the metro stop and walking distance to Roman Forum and the Coliseum. Was nice to walk around a neighborhood that wasn't overrun with tourists.
The rooms were not well maintained and there was mold in our bathroom on the walls and in the shower.

I enjoyed my stay! The amazing view from the rooftop during breakfast was stunning, and the coffee was amazing. Plus, they had a lovely open terrace for dining, which added to the charm.
